Tips and Tricks

Personally people, I see no point in reinventing the wheel, so... with that thought in mind, when I come across neat tips and tricks related to products, stamping, and papercrafting that I think are cool, I will put them here.

Seriously... this is the coolest thing since ice cream! Saw this technique on Stamp TV, and then actually saw it in an old stamping magazine a day later! So I figured the angels were telling me, "You've got to try this out!" So I did, and WOW!!!! How easy and fun is this! Take a look at the video and then give it a try. It's easy to do, and requires very little setup. My kind of technique! It is a little messy, so protect your work surface from the inks, but it sure is a whole lot of fun! Would be fun for kids to do too!

How to Index Your Stamps by Mischelle Smith, founder of The Angel Company!

Before I put my sheet of rubber stamps on the cling, I stamp the whole sheet one more time on a blank sheet of paper with the remaining ink.  This gives me a reference sheet of all my sets of stamps.  So at a glance of the sheets, even if the stamp is "lost" at the moment, which of course never happens (HA! HA!), I know what I "should" have available to use!

P.S..... It is important to use the StazOn Ink, as it is a solvent ink that works well on nonporous surfaces.  Other types of ink do not set and dry on the cling and will continue to rub off with use.  Learn more about ink types here!
